Carol Weisman,
helping ordinary people cut through the fear, confusion and anxiety about fundraising

What they are saying about me...

There is no way that I can sufficiently thank you for the terrific job that you did in running our recent Board of Directors Retreat. As usual...more

“You are absolutely fabulous! Your wit and wisdom and focus on the task made our First Candle retreat a joy. I believe that we will move forward with a better"...more

"WHAT a great night for University City Children’s Center. The feedback from my board was outstanding. You did a great job of"...more

“How does anyone find the words to say thanks for all that energy, fun and professionalism?”...more

You don’t need this book if…

Nonprofit Fundraising Tips & Strategies Book

100% of your board is already involved in fundraising and willing to leap tall buildings to make sure there is enough money for your mission.
Your organization has such terrific name recognition that the phrase “best kept secret” is never associated with your group and potential donors know your “true identity.”
Your fundraising training is so powerful that board members of other organizations try to disguise themselves to attend your workshops.
Your funding stream is so secure that it is impervious to economic downturn, legislative whim, donor fatigue and kryptonite.
Warning: When book is being read, light bulbs might be seen over your board members’ heads. Could cause glare! Once board members became more fully engaged in the fundraising process, superhero logos have been known to appear on underganments.

How To Order

1) I want to work smarter, not harder on fundraising for my group. I need a copy of Transforming Ordinary People into Fundraising Superheroes…Even those who hate to ask. Click Here!

2) I want to get our whole group involved in fundraising. I need one for everyone, and I love a deal. Instead of paying $25 for one book, I am paying $11/book for 18 or more PLUS I get a nifty canvas bag AND wash-on superhero tattoos. Click Here!

3) Carol, help! There are more than 18 people on my board. I understand that if I buy the whole bag, I can buy additional copies at the super price of $11/book. Click Here!

4) I want to get started reading this immediately! GREAT! Just fill your name and email address in below.

Why a humorous book on fundraising?

When you go to the doctor and she says, we need to take your blood pressure, the usual response is jacket off, sleeve rolled up, no problemo. This is much like the announcement, “We are going to discuss governance.” When the doctor says, “Oh, and by the way, you’re due for a colonoscopy,” you have about the same level of enthusiasm as when fundraising training is announced. Because of the general fear and anxiety many folks experience with fundraising, I’ve tried to make this book user-friendly and reassuring.
Fundraising is a process, not an event.
I firmly believe that EVERY board
member will be able to embrace an
aspect of the process and excel.
To have a healthy organization, you need to get everyone involved. And the best part: no pain, no one will weigh you, you get to keep your clothes on and you will be able to support a mission you believe in. You just need to match your super power to your organization’s needs.
